Four men stole thousands of Euros in cash from the Jafers supermarket in Vilamoura on August 11.
The gang struck at closing time when an employee was carrying the day’s takings. As three of the men, all masked, approached, the woman managed to shout for help.
Some of her colleagues, realising what was happening, went to assist her but a fourth man appeared with a shotgun and fired a shot into the air to deter them.
The gang made off in a car. The police are investigating the case.
