Spanish police are searching for two men who are reported to have driven away in a car with a Portuguese licence plate after using explosives to rob an ATM machine in a bank in Pontevedra.
According to Spanish news agency Efe, the robbery happened at around 4.15am (Spanish time) this morning (February 25) in an Abanca bank in Guillarei, Tui.
Efe reports that the explosion did not cause any victims or force anyone to move out of the apartments located in the same building.
Details about the car have not been revealed, but Spain’s Guardia Civil is said to be actively looking for it as it continues investigating the robbery.
