Garage assault
A young woman suffered a terrifying ordeal after driving into the garage at her home in Gaia, near Porto. As she prepared to get out of her vehicle, a man slipped into the garage, and proceeded to take her mobile phone, bank cards and the little money she had on her before locking her in the boot and making his escape. Luckily, the woman, 25, was soon able to escape and raise the alarm. The man was later caught by local PSP officers in a nearby street in Gaia.
