AROUND 316,000 euros is due to be spent on repairing the 5.5 kilometre stretch of road between Almancil
and Quarteira.
Over time the road has been neglected and heavy traffic has left it in disrepair. Improvements will be made to the road drainage system, pavements and the road will be repaved. Traffic lights will be repositioned to make the road safer for drivers. Repairs will begin in October and are due to be completed within 90 days.
