One of Portimão’s major roads, Rua Direita, which was only a pedestrian road, has been opened to traffic until September 15.
The measure is aimed at improving road traffic flow in one of the busiest areas of the city during the summer.
Rua Júdice Biker, which was a one-way street, has been changed to allow traffic to flow in both directions from the road bridge at the entrance of the city to Largo 1º de Dezembro, opposite to Portimão Municipal Theatre.
This will allow drivers to have better access to Rua Direita.
