TWO SEPARATE incidents claimed the lives of four young people travelling in Portugal in the early hours of Sunday, April 6.
Two students, one Ukrainian and the other Moldavian, from the University of the Algarve were involved in the first car accident, resulting in the death of the teenagers, both aged 19. The students were en route to Fátima and crashed near Ourique. It is believed the crash was due to tiredness.
The second accident occurred near Messejana, Aljustrel, and killed a young couple when the car hit a tree. The couple were returning home after a night out.
