The latest International Badminton Federation rankings saw 19-year-old Pedro Martins rise ten places to No105 in the world. The young Lagoa player was part of the Portuguese national team which finished second in a four nations tournament in Italy last week. Meanwhile Algarve junior club mate Daniela Conceição was in action in Finland where she reached the singles quarter-finals and doubles semi-finals of the U-15 Finnish Elite Tournament.
