Ringo Starr has collaborated with his former Beatles’ bandmate Paul McCartney on his latest solo effort.
The drummer’s forthcoming solo album Y Not, due to be released on January 12, also features collaborations with Joss Stone and Ben Harper.
Paul McCartney contributed by playing bass guitar on the recording of Peace Dreams and singing lead vocals alongside Ringo on Walk with You which was written by Ringo and Van Dyke Parks.
Ringo Starr has produced the album and wrote the songs with help from Joe Walsh from The Eagles, Dave Stewart and Glen Ballard.
