Members of the Algarve Senior Bikers (ASB) recently braved the cold winds to take a ride to Odemira in the lower Alentejo.
The group was divided into two due to the large number of riders taking part. They met near Lagos and the route took them alongside the Barragem da Bravura and through the Pincho Valley to join the road to Aljezur.
After a break for coffee below the castle in Aljezur, the riders continued up the windy west coast road for lunch at Restaurant O Tarro overlooking the river in Odemira, with the well known tree on the roundabout sculptured from scrap metal.
Next meetings by the ASB will be on December 3 in Paderne at 10am and on December 12 for Charity Christmas Lunch at the Fatacil in Lagoa.
