David Shirley led members of the Algarve Senior Bikers group from Porches to the restaurant Abrigo de Serra in Marmalte in the hills near Monchique on September 23.
The group followed David, leading on his Kawasaki 650 ER6, to Silves before riding past the Odeluca dam to Alferce before turning west and heading to Marmelete.
After lunch the riders continued down the hill to Pereira and finally on to the Algarve Motor Park to finish the ride.
The next meeting of the Algarve Senior Bikers will be on October 4 with those interested asked to meet at the Petrofer service station on the Loulé road near to junction E11 A22.
