Rewards offered

SEVERAL organisations have offered generous rewards for any information leading to the safe return of Madeleine McCann.

A colleague of the girl’s mother, Kate McCann, has offered a £100,000 reward for Madeleine’s safe return. The GP, who asked not to be named, is a 44-year-old married father who is a partner in the Leicestershire surgery where Kate McCann works.

British national newspaper The Sun has been handing out posters and offering a £10,000 reward for anyone supplying information directly leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible.

Meanwhile, a British businessman has offered a 10,000 euro reward for any information leading to the safe return of Madeleine. Don Holmes, of Holmes & Smith Sociedade Lda, a construction company near Albufeira, is unrelated to the family, but has told The Resident that he is personally shocked by the disappearance of the little girl and would like to try and help find her.
