It is described as the “largest beverage sector event in the Algarve” and it will be taking place between Friday, March 6 and Saturday, March 7 at the revamped Fábrica do Inglês complex in Silves.
The Wine & Spirits Algarve Trade Experience is organised by Garrafeira Soares and will bring together winemakers, spirits producers, mixologists, brand ambassadors, brand builders and bartenders from some of the biggest beverage brands in Portugal and the world.
There will be workshops, wine tasting events, live music and DJ sets and finger food as well as several presentations about the Portuguese Discoveries and the spice trade.
Although the event is aimed specifically at people involved in the beverage sector, it is open to everyone. It will take place on both days between 5pm and 8pm.
Daily tickets cost €25 per person while a two-day pass costs €40, with proceeds going to Faro-based children’s home Refúgio Aboim Ascensão. They can be purchased online at ticketline.pt.
