A motorbike ride expected to attract hundreds of participants is starting today (Friday) from Tavira and finishing tomorrow in Boticas, close to the northern border with Spain.
The 14th Portugal de Lés-a-Lés will see more than 1,000 bikers ride along national and municipals roads, and even some dirt tracks, passing through Covilhã and Serra da Estrela to get to their final destination.
Organisers say the event aims to show participants what it was like to travel before motorways.
