Retirement age reduces by three months to 66 years and four months

The legal age of access to retirement pensions in Portugal is falling by three months next year as a result of the pandemic: life expectancy saw an “unprecedented decrease” 2019-2021, explains Lusa. The new age of access, which takes effect from January 1, 2023, has be set in legislation published today in government gazette Diário da República.
