Applications are already being accepted for the eighth edition of the Rota do Petisco gastronomic event, which every year involves scores of restaurants offering a variety of typically Algarvean dishes and desserts at reduced prices.
This year, however, the format is different. Restaurants and eateries from all over the Algarve will be able to take part, with the event taking place solely between October 4 and November 4, and not spread out between different months and in different locations.
According to organisers Teia d’Impulsos, the event will showcase Algarvean gastronomy more than any time before.
“It will be the most Algarvian Rota do Petisco of all,” the association says.
