Restaurant Trattoria Oliveira, located in the heart of the Quinta do Paraíso resort in Carvoeiro, has unveiled a special Christmas menu for the holiday season featuring “delicious heartwarming dishes” created by resident chef Vítor Bernardo.
The gastronomic experience begins with an avocado and shrimp bruschetta, followed by salmon ravioli with dill sauce and crispy leak and/or veal saltimbocca with mushroom risotto and sautéed zucchini – depending on whether you choose the three or four-course menu. For dessert, guests will enjoy a mouthwatering lemon crème brûlée.
This menu is ideal for groups of six up to 30 people.
Cost is €38.50 for the four-course menu or €26.50 for the three-course menu. Price includes wine, soft drinks, water and coffee.
This special Christmas menu can be enjoyed until January 5 except on New Year’s Eve. Bookings are required. The restaurant will then close for holidays between January 6 and February 6.

The restaurant, open from 6.30pm to 10pm, serves the finest pizzas and pastas as well as a selection of Mediterranean food. You can see the new winter menu online, as well as a special take away menu.
The winter menu features classics such as salami pizza and calzone as well as beef lasagne and fettuccine carbonara. Or if you’re in the mood for something else, there is also a wide selection of fish and meat including salmon, grilled tiger prawns, stone bass, oven-roasted lamb shank, grilled beef tournedos and classic beef stroganoff.
The wines are mainly supplied by Quinta dos Vales, the award-winning winery in Estômbar, Lagoa.
