Restaurant Review: L’Auberge

Restaurant Review: L’Auberge

Recently re-opened, L’Auberge restaurant, located just outside Loulé on the road to Salir, has rapidly gained popularity in that part of the Algarve. A warm welcome greets diners on arrival and immediately you get a sense of how good this restaurant is.
Owners John and Carol are excellent hosts and the staff are friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu.
Start your evening with a drink or cocktail at the bar. There’s live music once a week, so relax with your drink and take in your surroundings. L’ Auberge provides the perfect place to sit back and unwind with friends, family or with that special someone on a romantic evening à deux.
The food speaks for itself, and it’s really rather special. Head chef Dan has 20 years experience in some of London’s top restaurants and has created a menu that will take you on a sublime journey of taste and flavour. All dishes are made with fresh, locally sourced produce, and the finest ingredients the Algarve has to offer.
The menu has been uniquely designed with only the best in mind and offers meat, fish and vegetarian dishes. The restaurant also opens for traditional Sunday lunch. Prices are extremely reasonable, considering the quality of the food and service.
Reservations are required, particularly for the evening.
Reserve your table for Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, Christmas parties or dinner on New Year’s Eve.
