Vila Vita Parc near Porches, Lagoa, has been named in the gold list of the world’s leading resorts by the Spanish edition of Condé Nast Traveler.
Vila Vila Parc is the only Algarve resort in Europe to achieve the distinction.
The gold list is the magazine’s annual round-up of the best international travel experiences, tried and tested by the magazine’s team of independent editors, writers and hotel experts.
Vila Vita Parc is one of 26 resorts in the world to be honoured by the magazine in its December issue.
Kurt Gillig, the resort’s director, said: “We are delighted to be honoured once again in such a short space of time. Vila Vita Parc’s team strive to make the unique possible and this award recognises the input of the whole team and helps motivate us forward into 2012.”
The distinction follows a second Michelin star recently awarded to the resort’s gourmet restaurant Ocean at the end of November.
