As we went to press on Wednesday, dozens of cars were reported to have been “totally destroyed” by a fire that broke out at a parking area owned by a rent-a-car company in Patacão, Faro.
The fire started at around “lunchtime” and spread very quickly, with workers of Zitauto scrambling to get as many cars out of the car park as possible.
No injuries were reported.
