FARO CÂMARA has authorised Parque Expo to design a strategy plan for the riverside area from Bom João to Patacão.
Parque Expo was responsible for the Lisbon riverfront renovations, as part of Expo ’98, and will receive nearly 200,000 euros to design a plan to revitalise Faro’s waterfront in the Ria Formosa nature reserve (see The Resident edition January 18). The project is due to be completed by the end of the year and is likely to feature plans to construct a luxury new marina, leisure areas and hotels.
