LOULÉ WILL be celebrating the end of the Mãe Soberana religious festival on April 6 with an outdoor church service in front of the Eng. Duarte Pacheco monument at 4pm.
After the service, hundreds of people will join the procession to accompany the statue of Nossa Senhora da Piedade, Our Lady of Pity, the patron saint of the city, through the streets of Loulé to her chapel. This annual festival is due to end in the evening with a fireworks display.
