Registrars and Notaries say sector “sick and bandaged up”

The syndicate of staff in State registrars and notary offices has delivered a manifesto to parliamentary groups today, complaining about the problems they are facing, saying their sector is “sick and bandaged up”. Staffing levels are among the most problems. The syndicate claims offices are short of 249 registrars and 1,522 registry officials – translating into 50,000 ‘lost attendances’ per day.
