Refurbished Pingo Doce opens

Pingo Doce, the Portuguese supermarket chain, has opened a newly-refurbished store at Torre in Armação de Pêra.

The store opened its doors yesterday (Thursday) under the management of Paulo Martins.

“The new store remains loyal to the Pingo Doce policy of continuously low prices and our store is committed to bringing the customer innovative own brand products of the highest quality,” he said.

Paulo Martins considers the new store to be “much more user friendly for the shopper” and renovations to the supermarket have included the creation of a café and a take-away service.

The new supermarket is located behind the GNR building in Armação de Pêra and is open every day from 9am until 9pm.
