LAST SATURDAY was the annual Red Dress Hash, a day when all Hashers, including the men, turn out in glorious red dresses, hats, wigs, skimpy underwear and even the occasional garter and high heels – all purely for fun, of course! Hashing through Estoril and Monte Estoril, along the sea front, passing restaurants full of bemused folk leisurely enjoying lunch and picking up their glasses to check exactly what they were drinking. Many heads turned, jaws dropped and huge smiles were created by the amazing sight. The next Lisbon Hash House Harriers run will take place on Saturday, June 4. Meeting point is behind the Estoril Casino, at 1.45pm.
