Recycling certain ink cartridges will now help raise funds for Algarve children’s charity ACCA.
Eco Cartridge of Almancil has teamed up with ACCA to recycle Hewlett Packard ink jet cartridges of any type and donate a percentage of the profit to the association.
Epson and Canon cartridges cannot be recycled but they are happy to collect these too as they can be sent overseas to be reused.
Individual cartridges can be given to an ACCA member. If you have a number of them, ACCA can arrange to pick them up. For further information, please contact [email protected].
The association is also appealing for volunteers, particularly in the Western Algarve.
Next month there will be a fund-raising Grand Christmas Raffle, with tickets being available at Christmas fairs across the Algarve.
