ROCK IN Rio-Lisboa promoters recently revealed to The Resident that an estimated 83,000 tickets were sold for the event within the first month. “It is double the amount sold for the Rock in Rio in 2001,” Paula Pinto revealed. In an attempt to further boost sales, tickets went on sale in 89 El Corte Inglés shops in Spain last Monday. “Spain is a big market for this event,” Pinto explained.
