A series of talks organised by the British Consulate in Portimão is taking place on Wednesday, March 21 at the Hotel Vila Galé, Meia Praia, Lagos, from 4.30pm to 6.30pm.
The initiative aims to raise awareness of the consular services and support available to British nationals in the area, and the work done by the consular team.
Speakers will be British Consul Clive Jewell, Andy Hamilton, Head of the Regional Passport Processing Centre in Madrid, and Alison Blair, founder and President of the Madrugada Association, who will talk about their work helping people with life limiting illness.
Also attending will be a representative from the Department of Work and Pensions and a representative of the Royal British Legion.
