Algarve Senior Bikers (ASB) welcomed two new riders to the group before heading north via Silves to São Marcos de Serra for the first ride of 2012 on January 25.
Following a short coffee break, the group continued to the west and upwards towards Alferce, then down to Caldas de Monchique for lunch at the restaurant O Máximino.
The event, which attracted 26 riders, was organised by David Shirley, who also acted as lead rider, assisted by Hans Veninga, Martin Taylor and Steve Wills.
The next meeting for the ASB will be held on February 23, when riders will meet at the Petrofer service station near junction 11 Boliqueme of the A22, for a trip to Baranco do Velho and then on to Faro beach for lunch.
