Green Star chef Marc Segarra and Giacomo Giannotti, one of the best bartenders in the world, kick off new dinner series
Vila Vita Parc in Porches will welcome, on August 12, the Spanish chef Marc Segarra – distinguished with a Michelin green star – who will create a sumptuous and seasonal menu accompanied by the cocktails of one of the best bartenders in the world, the Italian Giacomo Giannotti.
It is the debut of the ‘Reach for the Stars’ Green themed dinner series, and will highlight how culinary geniuses can create exceptional cuisine that is also sustainable and environmentally friendly.
Coming from the restaurant El Refectorio, at Hotel Abadía Retuerta – awarded the first Green Star in 2020 – Spanish chef Marc Segarra, accompanied by Portuguese chef João Viegas (who heads Vila Vita’s Atlântico restaurant), will create a tasting menu that is based on what most unites them, a work that focuses on reducing the environmental footprint in the restaurant, with seasonal and locally sourced products respecting the ecosystem of the region they are located in.
This menu will be harmonised by one of the great names in mixology, the Italian Giacomo Giannotti. From Paradiso in Barcelona – today the third best cocktail bar in the world, according to The World’s 50 Best Bars – Giannotti will create cocktails exclusively for this event.
The evening starts at the Manzar Terrace at 7pm with a welcome cocktail by Giacomo Giannotti, followed by dinner at the Atlântico restaurant with chef Marc Segarra and chef João Viegas.
The tasting menu costs €125 per person, with the possibility of wine pairing for €75 per person. And it gives immediate access to the cocktail on the Manzar Terrace. Advance booking is recommended on +351 282 310 100 or [email protected].
