Dear Editor,
Although I have no doubts the EN125 is an extremely dangerous road, I don’t think it is right for people to keep blaming it for every single accident.
I use the road every weekday and I am appalled by the way people drive. Yes, if the A22 highway wasn’t tolled, there would be less people driving on the EN125 and it wouldn’t be so dangerous… but knowing the way most people drive, the accidents will be just as bad or worse on the highway.
In this case, it seems the accident was caused by a sudden death, but it didn’t take long before many started to blame it on the road.
But we have to acknowledge that many of the road’s accidents are caused by bad calls from drivers who would rather be sorry than late.
