I read the letter of Mr. John Hunt about EDP power supply in the Paderne area (last week’s edition). We have the same problem.
Most of the time it’s only less than a minute in our case but it is still annoying. In the middle of your work, the computer shuts down, the items you didn’t save are lost and there might be damage on your hard-disk.
All in all it costs a lot of time to restore everything.
In case of a power cut, I save date and time in a file. The records show a critical time between 4pm and 5.
