The letter relating to funds raised for Gonçalo Amaral on May 15 is totally off the mark.
The writer states that there is no evidence that the McCanns were involved. There appears to be no evidence in the public domain as to who was involved so it would be unwise to rule anybody out.
When he says that the money raised could be spent on better deserving charities, would he like to comment on the 12 million pounds that the British government has spent funding an enquiry by British police in the Algarve, an area that is outside their jurisdiction?
The Online Poll conducted in the same edition was interesting.
