Dear Editor,
I took good note of Ana Maria Baptista’s diplomatic answer to the letter from reader Colin (in last week’s edition), crying in his soup that it is impossible to have a gourmet meal in Portugal for €3.95.
I would suggest to the ones who think alike to stay home instead. Maybe they will find some Michelin-starred places in Yorkshire serving delicacies for less that £2 per plate.
