Motorhomers are practically the only consumers in Sagres during the long off season.
The parking lot has been a defacto camping area for a long time, and is too far away from everything to be of any other use.
I say it’s a smart move to overtly welcome them.
I’m always glad to see a few at the beach near my place. Other than them, the west coast is a graveyard all winter.

Oh, what a lovely sight to tourists when they arrive to see the lovely fort in Sagres! And I can’t imagine that the people who arrive in campers would spend enough money to warrant the investment of €25,000.
