Dear Editor,
As a hobby cook myself, I have a collection of cookbooks and magazines overflowing my book shelves. But, of course, I keep looking at new books, especially about Portuguese cuisine. This because, like for example winemaking, Portugal cuisine has finally received, in the last few years, its revolution by the hand of innovative chefs, giving the country’s excellent food a much desired boost of modern finesse.
This is why this book, “Algarve Mediterrânico: Tradição, Produtos e Cozinhas”, stands out. There is finally a cookbook which shows (in excellent pictures) the traditional dishes in a 21st century look. Thank you and congratulations!
