Cash collection for Food Bank after Mass
A Catholic Mass will be celebrated in English this Sunday, June 18, at the chapel on the cliffs – Our Lady of the Incarnation (Nossa Senhora da Encarnação) – in Carvoeiro, at 4pm, announced the ‘Carvoeiro Catholics’.
The whole Mass will be in English: the readings, the hymns as well as the Order of Mass. Everyone is welcome even if you do not normally attend this church. Padre Nuno Coelho – the parish priest – will be the celebrant.
“Please be aware that the usual time for weekend Mass in Carvoeiro is Saturday at 5.30 pm (in Portuguese). Our English Mass (normally the third Sunday of every month) does not replace that,” Carvoeiro Catholics informed.
There will be a cash collection for the Food Bank, which supports over 100 families in need.
Refreshments will be served after Mass.
