Padre Nuno Coelho will be the celebrant of a Mass in English on Sunday, October 18 at 4pm in Carvoeiro church for World Mission Day.
This is a new initiative by Padre Nuno who has set himself a challenge to improve his spoken English while ministering to his expatriate flock.
It is the first in a new series of English Masses in Carvoeiro, which will be held the third Sunday of every month, from now on.
The whole Mass will be in English: the readings, the hymns as well as the Order of Mass.
Everyone is welcome even if they do not normally attend this church.
Covid-19 rules apply, and all are asked to wear face masks.
A collection for the Food Bank will take place, so attendees are asked to bring a contribution with a long shelf life.
