THE PORTUGAL Branch of the Royal British Legion (RBL) is planning a fundraising event to take place at John and Grace Chidlow’s home in Torre, Cascais, on Sunday, October 9, from 1pm.
It will be a curry buffet to follow the success of last year’s event, which raised over 400 euros. The minimum donation will be 20 euros for RBL members and immediate family and 25 euros for non-members. This will include a choice of Sag (spinach) Chicken, Rogan Josh and Chingree (prawn) Coconut – or a mixture of the three! Accompaniments will be rice, poppadoms and chutneys, followed by a choice of dessert. Beer, red and white wine, water and soft drinks are included.
