The Royal British Legion will be hosting an illustrated presentation on the Commonwealth War Graves of WW1 and WW2, given by Ron Curtis, on October 21 at the Holiday Inn Algarve in Armação de Pêra at 11.30am.
Ron will give an account of his experiences when visiting war graves in France and Belgium and include photos and tales of his many trips which started when tracing the grave of his grandfather who died on the Somme.
Open to all, the presentation will be followed by the usual monthly lunch.
Cost is €5 for the presentation only, to be donated towards the Poppy Appeal, and €17 for the presentation and lunch.
