The Royal British Legion Christmas lunch took place on December 17 at the Hotel Garbe in Armação de Pêra and raised funds for the Poppy Appeal.
Sixty-seven members and guests attended, along with Father Christmas.
A raffle took place after the lunch featuring festive prizes and raised 250 euros for the Poppy Appeal.
This year, the appeal has emphasised the need to help the Afghan generation of the Armed Forces and their families.
The Royal British Legion meets every third Wednesday of the month at the Hotel Garbe at 12pm.
