THINK OF a nice cup of tea and a good wedge of cake and the Women’s Royal Voluntary Service (WRVS) springs to mind.
Last Saturday, the ladies held their Autumn Fair at St Julian’s School in Carcavelos and even the rain didn’t keep the crowds away. The WRVS committee was pleased with the results of their efforts and David Smith, headmaster of the school, thanked everyone for their support. Looking at the smiles on the faces of visitors, many had grabbed a bargain and, of course, had sampled the WRVS’s famous cup of tea.
