REFER National Railway Network is to invest €1.2 million in improvement works to train stations in Olhão, Fuseta, Tavira, Cacela and Vila Real de Santo António.
According to a public tender published in the government’s official publication Diário da República, the work includes the replacement of wood railroad ties for concrete ones.
Once the project grant is adjudicated, work is to be completed within 120 days.
