Racing pigeon carnage on A2 motorway

An accident on the A2 motorway yesterday erroneously reported the death of 10,000 racing pigeons. It turns out only 98 died when the lorry transporting them crashed down a bank near Marateca, coming to a rest on its side. Many however were injured, reports the president of the racing pigeon association of Braga, to which all the birds belonged. Also injured was the driver of the lorry and his passenger.
