British pop star Heavenli from the platinum selling R&B group Honeyz has joined forces with resident Barbara Fruish and her Stage School workshop.
Barbara Fruish said that after reading an article about Heavenli and her Christmas choir in the Algarve Resident, she contacted the singer and invited her along to the regular Saturday drama workshop. “Heavenli slotted right in and did an impromptu song with the group,” she said.
When the workshops resume on January 9, Heavenli will be providing coaching in singing, dance and performance techniques.
“The workshops are not just about a career on stage or TV but are a fun way to meet people, to develop social and interaction skills, build confidence and teamwork, in an encouraging and supportive environment,” said Barbara Fruish.
