A quiz night in aid of the Association for the Protection of Animals in the Algarve (APAA) on July 16 raised €580 for the charity.
More than 60 people attended the event, held in the gardens of the APAA president Alan Camplin Smith, with food provided by the Fat Pig who served spit roasted chicken and lamb followed by fruit.
Jenny Clarke assumed the role of quiz master and there was a new winning team at the quiz led by David Fraser from Alcantarilha.
