A luxury golf and spa resort being developed between the parishes of Querença and Tôr in the district of Loulé supports the local community by helping to fund appropriate projects.
Quinta da Ombria recently visited two institutions supporting local residents in various ways – the Associação Social e Cultural da Tôr (social and cultural association of Tôr) and the Associação de Bem Estar aos Amigos de Querença (association for the wellbeing of friends of Querença).
To help the two associations improve operations and facilities for their members, they were presented with a Christmas donation of €3,500 each by Quinta da Ombria.
Presidents for both associations were pleased to accept the donations from the resort which is set to create around 300 jobs for the area in tourism.
Quinta da Ombria will include 18 holes of golf, a golf club, five star hotel and three holiday villages.
