Quarteira’s Aquashow waterpark will remain closed during the 2020 season due to the coronavirus pandemic, but is already “preparing novelties for 2021”.
The waterpark’s management says the decision was made “after carefully evaluating the current situation and aims to minimise the potential risks associated with Covid-19 by following the recommendations from the World Health Organisation and the National Health Board”.
Hotel Aquashow, located within the waterpark grounds, will however reopen on July 1.
