If you have a recipe for octopus that you think is a winner, now is the time to put it to the test.
Quarteira is hosting an ‘Octopus Week’ from September 10 (Saturday) to 17 and one of the main attractions will be a competition for the best recipe.
People must sign up before September 9 at either the Quarteira parish council, the HQ of Armalgarve Polvo or by email (as[email protected] | [email protected]).
The event will also see many restaurants presenting their own dishes and there will be a series of showcooking demonstrations and workshops, focusing on sushi and Mediterranean cuisine. These can be booked at the cost of €25 once the full programme and schedule has been announced.
