Dear Editor,
We passed through Faro airport on Saturday afternoon and were delighted at the lack of queues, efficient passport control area and the clear Covid-19 hygiene regime.
Chaos is only caused by people not adhering to the instructions and ignoring signs. Stupid.
Having returned to our apartment for the first time in five months, we have been very impressed with the way the region is dealing with the virus and would implore others to support keeping the air-bridge open.
Fresh air and outside living are so much healthier than the UK autumn and public transport!
