Qatar Airway is said to be ‘interested’ in purchasing TAP adjunct Groundforce, which has to be offloaded as part of the ‘restructuring package’ involving billions of taxpayers’ money (click here). There has also been interest shown by Belgian company Aviapartners, and the Kuwaiti NAS. Infrastructures minister Pedro Nuno Santos has “assured” syndicates that Groundforce will not be “sold in a hurry” or “at any cost”.
